Untold Stories of the San Lorenzo River
In 2019, Michael worked on a project called “Untold Stories of the San Lorenzo River" with Arts Council Santa Cruz County, and fellow artist Wes Modes. This project focused on uncovering the ways in which a diverse community is connected with its landscape. The project focused on highlighting community member relationship to the river and their connection to its semi-wild banks.
These stories were then shared with the community, both online and through interactive exhibits at the Tannery Arts Center during the Ebb & Flow River Arts Festival.
